Congress Works to Ease Federal Antitrust Agencies' Load

WASHINGTON - In these days of the mega-merger, Congress is getting closer to approving legislation that would lessen the considerable load of the federal government's antitrust enforcement agencies - possibly shifting some of that work to the states while reducing the headaches, paperwork and expenses for companies that wish to merge.
