High Court Examines Gun Rights

The high court on Tuesday will examine the constitutionality of a Washington, D.C., law that bars city residents from possessing handguns. Kern County’s Edward Jagels, left, led 29 California district attorneys who joined a gun-rights amicus brief, and San Francisco’s Kamala Harris led a group of five who filed in support of Washington.
