People using laptops for Bar Exam complain of software glitch

About a dozen people using laptops to write the California Bar Exam have complained a software problem interfered with their ability to type. The State Bar says laptop users assume the risk of technical problems.

Some people taking the California Bar Exam Thursday may be more worried than usual - at least those in the Los Angeles area writing their answers with laptop computers.


That's because on Tuesday, the first day of the three-day test, close to a dozen applicants taking the exam at the Ontario Convention Center apparently had problems typing with the software the State Bar requires them to use...
