Priest's Jilted Lover Finds Little Consolation in 1st DCA

SAN FRANCISCO - A pastor thinking about sexually seducing an adult parishioner might want to consult a lawyer first. A three-judge panel of the 1st District Court of Appeal has ruled, for the first time in California, that clergy can be held liable if their conduct amounts to a breach of fiduciary duty that isn't religious in nature.
