Film Cos. Forced Into Bankruptcy

In what could be a sign of trouble for related companies, a judge on Wednesday ordered that independent film company ThinkFilm be placed into Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

LOS ANGELES - A judge on Wednesday ordered that independent film entities ThinkFilm and Capitol Films Development be placed into Chapter 11 bankruptcy after the companies failed to respond to creditor motions that had sought to do so without a trial.
