Senate Rejects Malpractice Fee Cap

The Senate rejected a Republican effort to cap attorneys' fees in medical malpractice cases when it voted down an amendment to the health care bill Sunday.

WASHINGTON - The Senate rejected a Republican effort to cap attorney fees in medical malpractice cases when it voted down an amendment to the health care bill Sunday, although more proposals may be on the way.
