Ventura County relatively affordable for business

When the local tax bill comes due Ventura County is a relatively affordable location for business, but tight growth policies are apparent in its somewhat high development fees. The key communities in the region are reviewed here: Camarillo, Moorpark, Oxnard, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Ventura (officially San Buenaventura). Except for Ventura, all of the communities received very low cost ratings. Ventura, which is the only city of these six with a utility tax, received a low cost rating.
