Homebuilder Brookfield Residential announced it will integrate Apple HomeKit technology into all of its new Southern California homes, including forthcoming developments in San Marcos and Chula Vista.

Using Apple's smart-home app, homeowners can interface with HomeKit-enabled accessories, including lighting, thermostats, locks and WiFi.
