Judge rules that SF company's arbitration agreement with workers violated state contract law and cannot be enforced

A San Francisco County Superior Court judge is expected to sign an order denying venture capital fund CMEA Development Company LLC's motion to compel arbitration of sexual harassment claims by three executive assistants at the company.

A San Francisco County Superior Court judge is expected to sign an order denying venture capital fund CMEA Development Company LLC's motion to compel arbitration of sexual harassment claims by three executive assistants at the company. Judge Marla J. Miller ruled last week during a hearing that the company's arbitration agreement violated state contract law and could not be enforced.
