Jury Decides Bank Didn't Misappropriate Software Code

SAN JOSE - A jury rejected claims Thursday by a South Bay multimedia company that Bank of America misappropriated the software code that was used in its wireless banking system. Not only did the Santa Clara County Superior Court jury reject K.C. Multimedia's request for a $493 million verdict, the panel concluded that the company brought its claims in bad faith, entitling Bank of America to seek payment for its attorney fees.
