Last week, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against the Democratic Party of Hawaii (DPH), denying their attempt to close Hawaii's current open partisan primary system. Democratic Party of Hawaii v. Nago, 2016 DJDAR 8460 (Aug. 15, 2016).
