Long known for its agriculture, the city of Coachella has for years marketed the message that it is open for other kinds of business.
And when the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Southern California decided to move its sales and distribution facility from Cathedral City to Coachella, it seemed to solidify the efficacy of the city's attempts to spiral out from simply agriculture.
