Bill aims to tone down 'hyperbolic' ballot descriptions in judicial races

A state Senate bill designed to tone down creative ballot descriptions of judicial candidates has gained support among judges.

A bill designed to tone down "hyperbolic" or "hyper-creative" ballot descriptions of judicial candidates, such as "hardcore gang prosecutor," has gained support among the very people it would affect: judges.
