Judges Ponder How to Share Furlough Pain

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judges are weighing whether to join court staff in a furlough. They are the only courthouse workers not required to take the pay cut.

LOS ANGELES - Thousands of Los Angeles County Superior Court employees are preparing to take 4.5 percent pay cuts this summer under mandatory furloughs devised to help reduce a projected $90 million deficit.
