End of Windows XP support creates compliance issues

On April 8, Microsoft stopped supporting its Windows XP operating system. This means Microsoft no longer provides security updates and technical support for XP. Now, enterprises running Windows XP will no longer automatically receive updates for known vulnerabilities unless they contract specifically with Microsoft. Microsoft therefore recommends migrating to a newer version of Windows.
