On June 7, San Diego voters approved a minimum wage increase for the city of San Diego to $10.50 per hour immediately and $11.50 per hour on Jan. 1, 2017. In the same ballot measure, voters approved an increase in the minimum number of sick days employers must provide from three to five days.
