The Port of San Diego unveiled this week the six proposals it will choose from to redevelop Seaport Village.
Plans include large and small hotels, would-be iconic towers, a Ferris wheel, and aquarium.
Port commissioners will hear presentations on the proposals in July and hope to decide by the end of the year.
"Seaport" is a venture between Protea Waterfront Development and construction company Gafcon.
Their plan calls for hotels, retail and a 500-foot tower...
