Orange County files its first Prop. 35 case

Orange County prosecutors last week charged the county's first case of forcible human trafficking of a minor under Proposition 35, an anti-trafficking bill passed in November. The case is among the first batch filed under the new law.

The Orange County district attorney's office last week charged its first case under a newly passed state law against human trafficking, accusing a 33-year old man of forcing a girl to prostitute herself.
