High court hears DOMA arguments

For the second time this week, a divided Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a landmark gay marriage case - this time over the constitutionality of federal legislation that defines marriage as between one man and one woman.

WASHINGTON - For the second time this week, a divided U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a landmark gay marriage case - this time over the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act, or DOMA, federal legislation that in 1996 adopted the definition of marriage as between one man and one woman.
