Charles G. Rubin Began Planning His Law Career at Age 12

LOS ANGELES - While other children played house growing up, Charles G. Rubin played law firm. At 12, he and childhood friend Dickran Tevrizian posted their names on a broom closet, creating the Tevrizian and Rubin law practice.

Later, Tevrizian became a federal judge, and Rubin became a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge.

"We both did it," Rubin said.
