Future of Campaign Reform Is Uncertain in California

SACRAMENTO - These are heady times for political reformers. Campaign finance restrictions have moved to firmer legal ground, thanks to a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling. Reform has risen to prominence as a presidential campaign issue. Public backing for change remains high, with one recent poll showing almost 90 percent support for revamping the system.
