Two Judicial Seats Contested in San Bernardino County

Five attorneys are fighting for one empty judicial seat in San Bernardino County. The winner in the March 7 elections will replace retiring Judge Fred L. Heene, who's not seeking re-election and has for the past six months been on sick leave from his seat in the Chino courthouse. If no candidate receives a majority of the vote, the top two vote-getters will face off in the Nov. 7 general election.
