Jury Will Weigh Malice in Sterility Suit

The jury that returned a $3.3 million verdict against Dole Food Co. and Dow Chemical Co. on Monday went back into deliberations Tuesday afternoon to determine whether Dole acted with malice, oppression or fraud when it used a pesticide on its banana plantations in Nicaragua.
