'Superman' Heirs May Get More Gold From Man of Steel Franchise

The heirs to one of Superman's co-creators successfully recaptured the rights to works previously assumed to belong to DC Comics, in a court decision that could increase the family's share of profits from the franchise.

The heirs to one of Superman's co-creators successfully recaptured the rights to works previously assumed to belong to DC Comics, in a court decision that could increase the family's share of profits from the franchise.

U.S. District Court Judge Stephen Larson filed the 92-page opinion on Aug. 12 in Riverside, the latest twist in an ongoing battle between writer Jerome Siegel's family and DC.
