Bail for O.C. Sheriff May Signal Concern on Misconduct Claim

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals' decision to allow former Orange County Sheriff Mike Carona stay out of prison while he appeals his witness-tampering conviction strongly suggests that at least a few of the court's judges are concerned by his complaints of prosecutorial misconduct.
