Four Finalists Vie for Seat on District Court in Los Angeles

The names under consideration by the White House are Bradley S. Phillips, John A. Kronstadt, John S. Wiley Jr. and U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul L. Abrams.

LOS ANGELES - As mid-term elections near, bringing a potential change in control of the Senate, the White House has received the names of four candidates to fill a federal judicial seat in Los Angeles left vacant by the death of U.S. District Judge Florence-Marie Cooper earlier this year.
