Beatle’s settlement leaves open questions
A few weeks ago, Paul McCartney and music publisher Sony/ATV settled McCartney’s lawsuit asking a New York federal court to rule that his exercise of his termination rights under the U.S. Copyright Act to recapture his U.S. copyrights in the Beatles publishing catalogue was not a breach of his Sony/ATV music publishing agreements.
