Title VII ruling reflects current values

The 7th Circuit said Title VII prohibits an employer from discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation -- the first federal court of appeal to so hold. The real surprise is that it took so long.

Ivy Tech, the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeal held that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits an employer from discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation - the first federal court of appeal to so hold.
