US Supreme Court allows class-wide arbitration

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday unanimously ruled arbitrators can decide whether arbitration agreements allow class claims to continue in arbitration.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday unanimously ruled arbitrators can decide whether arbitration agreements allow class claims to continue in arbitration.


The decision will allow plaintiffs who have signed a binding arbitration contract to argue that the agreement does not specifically require them to pursue claims individually.
