Budget committee OKs interpreter pilot program
A budget conference committee voted Monday to fund a pilot program to provide court interpreters for civil cases in three counties. A Justice Department investigation could expand services further, though many are worried about costs.

SACRAMENTO - A joint Assembly and Senate budget committee late Monday voted to fund a pilot program for the next fiscal year that will provide court interpreters for civil cases in three counties.
