Internet retailers, privacy rights activists confront each other at state Supreme Court

Apple Inc. appeared to come out ahead in a high stakes case heard at the state Supreme Court Wednesday pitting Internet retailers against consumers concerned about privacy intrusion.

SAN FRANCISCO - During high-stakes arguments Wednesday pitting Apple Inc. against a consumer concerned about his privacy, the state's Supreme Court justices peppered attorneys with skeptical questions.
