Superman rights debated in 9th Circuit oral arguments

In back-to-back arguments Monday over who owns the 80-year-old Superman character — DC Comics or the two comic strip writers who invented him, a federal appeals court in Pasadena appeared to signal that a jury may need to resolve factual questions surrounding a 2001 rights deal between the publisher and the family of one co-creator.
