Lawsuit claims firm commits billing fraud

A Riverside litigator sued his former Van Nuys-based workers' compensation defense firm on Friday, claiming it enforced a minimum billing requirement of 3,000 hours per year -- a standard he said forced lawyers to lie about their hours.
