Orrick Shakes Up Big-Firm Staffing Model

San Francisco-based Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, home to 1,100 attorneys worldwide, is fundamentally reshuffling its staffing model. The point? Orrick Chairman and Chief Executive Ralph Baxter says it's to cut costs, because clients aren't willing to pay what they used to for big-firm legal services.
