Workers Behaving Badly

Multinational companies should implement codes that set forth what behavior is unacceptable, writes Stephen J. Hirschfeld.

Employee misconduct isn't limited to the United States. It is a worldwide phenomenon. The bad things that employees do - ranging from violence to harassment to theft and retaliation - must be investigated quickly and professionally. Multi-state and multi-national companies must put investigations systems in place that are consistently employed regardless of where the issue arises or what type of allegation is made.
