Tribe, Mining Giant Clash at 9th Circuit
Dozens of members of the Western Shoshone tribe, including tribal elder Mary McCloud, converged on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Wednesday to try and halt a massive open-pit gold mine the tribe says will destroy a Nevada mountain it considers sacred.
