SAN FRANCISCO - Entertainment industry officials Monday hailed the passage of a scaled-down bill that will add an intellectual property enforcement coordinator in the White House and beef up forfeiture penalties in criminal piracy cases.
The U.S. House of Representatives passed the bill by a 381-41 margin on Sunday, two days after the Senate approved it by a voice vote.
