Panel Remands Immigrant Bond Case

A federal appeals court ruled Thursday that U.S. District Judge Terry Hatter erred when he ordered a bond hearing for an immigrant detained for nearly two years.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals concluded Hatter relied on the wrong immigration statute when he ordered a bond hearing for Amadou Diouf.
