If Only Social Conservatives Loved Freedom
Letter to the Editor - I sympathize with the argument in the recent column by Andrea Lafferty, director of the Traditional Values Coalition, "Judicial Activism Gets Reproof in Recent Gay-Marriage Rulings" (Daily Journal, July 14), that the legislative branch, not the judicial, is the best forum in which disputes over major social issues should be resolved. Judges are supposed to interpret laws, not make them.
