On August 10, several DLA Piper volunteers provided pro bono support at the San Diego Homeless Court, a special San Diego Superior Court session for homeless defendants to resolve infractions, misdemeanor offenses and warrants. The August session included two large calendars with roughly 140 clients. The regular August calendar was inflated, as there is no July homeless court and the session also included an overflow calendar from the July Stand Down event for homeless veterans.
