State Panel Recommends Law Requiring Recording of Police Interrogations
LOS ANGELES - Concerned that false confessions are putting innocent people behind bars, a blue ribbon commission recommended Tuesday that a state law be adopted requiring police officers to electronically record interrogations with serious felony suspects in custody.
