Panel Rules Smoke Doesn't Obscure Illegal Traffic Search
SAN FRANCISCO - A U.S. park police officer conducted an illegal search and seizure by knocking on the window of a man's car on government property - even though the officer was engulfed in marijuana smoke after the man rolled down the window, a federal appeals court ruled Friday.
