Should We Sacrifice Civil Liberties for Security?

Dicta Column - On the Courthouse Steps - "I don't think so. As soon as you start to give up civil liberties in the name of security, you are going down a dangerous road. Although the security of this country is serious, so are civil liberties. I think you can protect both the country and our civil liberties at the same time.
