Justices Indicate Support of Contingency Fees

WASHINGTON - Reviewing an issue that affects thousands of elderly, widowed and disabled people each year, Supreme Court justices on Wednesday indicated they will allow lawyers to receive some form of contingency fees when they win Social Security benefits for clients.
