No Internet Access to Criminal Files, Judges Recommend
WASHINGTON - Trying to balance the public's right to see federal court files and privacy concerns in the Internet age, a committee of the U.S. Judicial Conference has recommended barring electronic access to all criminal and Social Security cases but allowing access to most civil and bankruptcy files.
