Push to Federalize Gun Crimes Spurs Concern
WASHINGTON - Federal judges and legal experts are concerned about a new White House effort aimed at increasing federal gun-crime prosecutions, saying these cases already are flooding federal dockets in many districts and eventually could have a devastating impact on the courts' ability to deliver swift justice.
