Victimized Need Legal Help Too
Despite support for the protection of crime victims' rights, the Crime Victims' Rights Amendment, which would guarantee victims' access to justice, suffered a setback in the Senate this past summer. Opponents of our constitutional amendment made it clear that they would prevent it from being voted on, so we withdrew it - for now.
