Assembly passes drugged driving bill

Just passed by the state Assembly and headed to the Senate is a bill that would create a drugged driving task force to develop recommendations to address the issue of driving under the influence of drugs.

The Assembly approved a measure to create a task force to study ways to detect drugged driving.

The measure was prompted by passage of Proposition 64, which decriminalized marijuana use, and now heads to the state Senate for approval.
