Hung jury in trial of OC lawyer accused of false imprisonment of school volunteer
Eleven Orange County jurors were ready to convict former Stradling Yocca partner Kent W. Easter of knowingly calling in a false police tip about a school volunteer who'd angered his wife. But one juror balked.

SANTA ANA - Jurors have failed reach a unanimous verdict in the case of an Orange County lawyer accused of planting drugs in a school volunteer's car and then calling in a phony tip about the woman to police.
