State Supreme Court lifts obstacle to retaliation lawsuits

The state Supreme Court ruled unanimously Thursday that doctors can swiftly sue hospitals for retaliation in certain types of whistle-blower lawsuits, removing a procedural obstacle the justices said could foreclose any chance of taking the claims to court.
